I worked in the bod from 2:00-5:00 but only a few people came in. I think sunny days make a difference & today was chilly & overcast again.
Another couple came to visit here & they had seen Sara and I at the Baltasound Hotel restaurant. And yesterday a tour guide with people saw Sara and commented that they had seen her also at the hotel restaurant on Unst. This is getting really eerie!
For dinner we had what Jan calls a TV dinner - altho it's not what you think. Jan & Pete made a homemade veggie pizza that was amazing, but before we ate, Pete went somewhere in the house and came back carrying a TV screen. They set up a movie called "Untouchable" & we sat around the TV with our plate of pizza on our lap & we watched the movie...it was like going to the movies only we ate pizza instead of popcorn! The movie was wonderful. For dessert, we had a brownie covered with strawberries, ice cream, and fresh minced mint from the garden on top.

It is fascinating that you run into people whom you have crossed paths with earlier. Pizza, movie, and desert what fun.
ReplyDeleteDid you tell them what a TV dinner was in America? And that Birds Eye created TV dinners as a way to save the tons of leftover turkey they have after Thanksgiving season?
